A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF RICHARDS
HARLEY DAVIDSON COMPANY FOR TWO (2) SOLO TYPE
MOTORCYCLES IN THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($3,300.00) ;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids was duly advertised and
bids were received pursuant thereto, all according to law, for
two (2) solo type motorcycles for use by the Police Depar,:ment;
an d
WHEREAS, the sole and only bid received was that of
Richards Harley Davidson Company in the sum of Three Thousand
Three Hundred Thirty-Two and 26/100 Dollars ($3, 332.26) , which
bid was subsequently negotiated to the sum of 'three Thousand
Three Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($3, 300.00) ; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock to accept the said bid in the last-named
sum and to authorize purchase of the said equipment;
wa, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The bid of Richards Harley Davidson Company
on two (2) solo type motorcycles for the sum of Three Thousand
Three Hundred and No/100 Dollars, after allowance for trade-in
is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The City I•lanager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants of the City of Little Rock in payment of the purchase
price upon receipt of the equipment subject of this bid.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
