A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF PRISMO SAFETY
CORPORATION FOR CERTAIN REFLECTIVE SIGNS FOR
TRAFFIC-CONTROL PURPOSES; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids was advertised and bids re-
ceived pursuant thereto according to law for one thousand three
hundred (1, 300) thirty-inch (30") reflective, red stop signs and
three hundred (300) white, twelve-by-eighteen inch (12x18") sign
blanks; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid appears
to be the bid of Prismo Safety Corporation in the sum of One
Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-Eight and 60/100 Dollars ($1,668.60)
for three hundred (300) thirty-inch (30") reflective, red stop
signs and in the sum of Three Hundred Twenty-Four and 45/100
Dollars ($324.45) for three hundred (300) white, twelve-by-eighteen
inch (12x18") sign blanks; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to accept the bid of Prismo Safety Corporation
in the foregoing sums;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Prismo Safety Corporation in the sum
of One Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-Eight and 60/100 Dollars
($1,668.60) for three hundred (300) thirty-inch reflective, stop
signs and in the sum of Three Hundred Twenty-Four and 45/100
Dollars ($324.45) for three hundred white, twelve-by-eighteen inch
sign blanks is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants of the City of Little Rock in payment of the purchase
prices upon receipt of the items described in the bidding instruments.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
