A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF AMERICAN
METAL WINDOW COMPANY FUR SIXTY-TWO (62)
AWNING-TYPE ALUMINUM WINDOWS FUR ANIMAL
CAGES IN THE ZOO ; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids was advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto according to law for sixty-two (62)
awning-type aluminum windows for animal cages at the City of
Little Rock Zoo; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid
appears to be the bid of American Metal Window Company in the
sum of One Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Nine and 32/100 Dollars
($1,629.32) ; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of
the i:ity of Little Rock to accept the bid of American Metal
Window Company as above described;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of American Metal Window Company in
the sum of One Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Nine and 32/100 Dollars
($1,629. 32) for Sixty-two (62) awning-type aluminum windows for
animal cages at the City of Little Rock Zoo is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants of the City of Little Rock in payment of the purchase
price upon receipt of the items described in the bidding documents.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
