A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF RAZORBACK
FENCE COMPANY FOR THE ERECTION OF A BACK-STOP FOR
A SOFTBALL DIAMOND IN HINDMAN PARK; AUTHORIZING
THE WORK AND PAYMENT THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS invitation for bids was advertised and bids were
received pursuant thereto for the erection of a back-stop for
a softball diamond in Hindman Park according to specifications
and drawings on file with the Parks and Recreation Department
of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS the lowest responsible and responsive bid was
submitted by Razorback Fence Company in the sum of One Thousand
Fifty-Two and 38/100 Dollars ($1,052.38) ; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
accept the bid of Razorback Fence Company and to authorize
the work and payment therefor upon completion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Razorback Fence Company in the sum
of One Thousand Fifty-Two and 38/100 Dollars ($1,052.38) for the
construction and erection of a back-stop for a softball diamond
in Hindman Park, according to the drawings and specifications on
file in the office of the Department of Parks and Recreation and
made a part of the bidding documents, is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. Upon completion of the work to the entire satis-
faction of the City of Little Rock and upon acceptance thereof by
the City, the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized
and directed to pay to Razorback Fence Company the contract price
as stated in Section 1 hereof and to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants for such purpose.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
