A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF GRAYBAR ELECTRIC
COMPANY FOR FIRE ALARM CABLE FOR USE BY THE CITY FIRE
DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS invitation for bids was advertised, pursuant to
which bids were received according to law, for fire alarm
cable to be used by the Little Rock Fire Department; ana
WHEREAS the lowest responsible and responsive bid was sub-
mitted by Graybar Electric Company in the sum of Six Thousand
Seventy-Seven and 30/100 Dollars ($6,077.30) ; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the Board of Directr s to
accept the bid of Graybar Electric Company and to authorize
payment for the said fire alarm cable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Graybar Electric Company in the sum
of Six Thousand Seventy-Seven and 30/100 Dollars ($6,077.30) for
Eleven Thousand feet (11,000' ) of Number Ten (No. 10) conductor
cable, according to the specifications and bidding instruments,
is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby . authorized and directed, upon receipt of the quantity
and item described in Section 1 hereof, to issue the necessary
warrant or warrants of the City of Little Rock in payment of the
purchase price.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
