A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO WATER-BOY OF ARKAN-
SAS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF WATER LINES AND SPRINKLER
SYSTEMS IN WAR MEMORIAL GOLF COURSE; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
FOR SAID WORK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS invitation to bid was advertised for the installa-
tion of water lines and sprinkler systems within the golf course
in War Memorial fark under and pursuant to specifications and
drawings made a part of the bidding documents ; and
WHEREAS, upon the opening of bids on February 23, 1965,
Water-Boy of Arkansas submitted the lowest responsible and
responsive bid in the sum of Four Thousand Seven Hundred Two and
71/100 Dollars ($4,702. 71) ; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the Board of Directors to award
a contract pursuant to said bias to Water-Boy of Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to Water-Boy of
Arkansas for the installation of water lines and sprin_:.ler sys-
tems within the golf course in War Memorial Park in complete and
full compliance and accord with the plans and specifications
attached to and made a part of the bidding documents and to the
complete and full satisfaction of the City Manager.
SECTION 2. Upon completion of the work described in the
bidding documents and acceptance thereof by the City of Little
Rock, the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized
and directed to pay to Water-Boy of Arkansas the sum of Four
Thousand Seven Hundred Two and 71/100 Dollars ($4, 702. 71) as the
full consideration for the said work.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
