A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING' THE ISSUANCE OF AN
AMBULANCE OPERATOR' S LICENSE TO LEONARD ELLIS
AMBULANCE AND WRECKER SERVICE FOR THE YEAR 1965 ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS Leonard Ellis, d/b/a Leonard Ellis Ambulance and
Wrecker Service, has applied for a license as an ambulance operator
for the year 1965 within the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, under and pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 5 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the
said Leonard Ellis has complied with all provisions required and
has tendered payment of the license fee; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the Board of Directors, upon find-
ing that all conditions are met, to award an ambulance operator' s
license to Leonard Ellis, d/b/a Leonard Ellis Ambulance and Wrecker
Service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. It having been found by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock that the public convenience and necessity
requires the ambulance service furnished by Leonard Ellis Ambulance
and Wrecker Service, that said applicant is a fit person and pro-
perly equipped to render such services, and that the applicant has
in force the required insurance policies in the limits of Fifty
Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($50,000.00) for injury to, or death of,
any one person, One Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($100, 000.00)
for all persons, and Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) for
property damage, and all other conditions of the law of this City
having been met, a license is hereby issued and authorized to Leonard
Ellis, d/b/a Leonard Ellis Ambulance and Wrecker Service, as an ambu-
lance operator within the City of Little Rock for the year 1965.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
