A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR
THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS the City of Little Rock annually takes bids for
various items of vehicular and heavy equipment needed for use
within the various departments of the City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, requests for bids were advertised,
were received pursuant thereto and opened; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the City of Little Rock to
award contracts for the purchase of certain vehicles and heavy
equipment to the lowest responsible and responsive bidders and to
authorize payment therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The purchase of certain equipment in the quan-
tities, for the prices, and from the bidders identified in Section
2 hereof, each of whom respectively was the lowest responsible and
responsive bidder for each item of equipment, is hereby authorized.
SECTION 2. The item, quantity, successful bidder and purchase
price for the items of equipment referred to in Section 1 hereof
are as follows:

SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the items of equipment complying
with the bid specifications and other bidding documents, the City
Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed
to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the
purchase price to the successful bidder for the respective items
of equipment described in Section 2.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
