A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LITTLE
ROCK ROAD MACHINERY COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE (1) 1960 MODEL, TD-9 INTERNATIONAL
CRAWLER TRACTOR WITH FOUR-IN-ONE (4-IN-1)
BUCKET AND OTHER ACCESSORIES; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on October 12, 1964, the City of Little Rock
entered into a lease with Little Rock Road Machinery Company,
wherein the City of Little Rock for a consideration of Nine
Hundred Ninety and No/100 Dollars ($990. 00) per month was granted
full use as lessee of a 1960 Model, TD-9 Crawler Tractor, Serial
No. 3711, with 9K3 Loader, Serial No. 12690, and Four-in-One
(4-in-1) Bucket, Serial No. 3009 ; and
WHEREAS said lease agreement provided for application of
all rental payments against the purchase price of said equipment
in the event that the City of Little Rock desired to purchase
said equipment; and
WHEREAS the City of Little Rock has made full use and can
continue to make full use of the said equipment and has hereto-
fore budgeted funds for the purchase thereof at the now current
balance of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Twenty and No/100 Dollars
($7, 520.00) and desires to purchase said equipment by exercising
its option and right under the said lease contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That the option and right in the City of Little
Rock Road Machinery Company, dated October 12, 1964, is hereby
exercised and the balance of the purchase price in the sum of
Seven Thousand Five Hundred Twenty and No/100 Dollars ($7,520.00)
is declared due and owing to the said Little Rock Road Machinery
Company.

SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of the purchase price as declared in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
