A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING FARRELL,
ROBINSON AND WASSELL, ARCHITECTS, TO UNDERTAKE
PRELIMINARY DESIGN, WORKING DRAWINGS, SPECIFICA-
TIONS AND BIDDING DOCUMENTS AND SUPERVISION F02
NECESSARY CHANGES AND ALTERATIONS WITHIN THE ZOO
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; ESTABLISHING A BASIS
OF COMPENSATION FOR SAID WORK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. In connection with the changes made necessary
in the Zoo of the City of Little Rock by the proposed construc-
tion of the East-West Expressway, which changes are reflected
in large part by the necessity to relocate certain zoo facili-
ties, cages and animal compounds, the architectual firm of
Ferrell, Robinson and vassell is hereby authorized and directed
to undertake preliminary design, working drawings, specifications
and bidding documents when and as necessary for the zoo, both as
a whole and in part, under the supervision and direction of the
Director of Parks and Recreation.
SECTION 2. The said architectual firm shall keep an accurate
record of its time expended on the aforesaid project and shall be
compensated therefor at the rate of Ten and No/100 Dollars ($10.00)
per hour, provided, however, that in no event shalllhe fee payable
hereunder for the aggregate of work done by the architectual firm
under Section 1 hereof exceed the sum of Three Thousand and
No/100 Dollars ($3,000.00) .
SECTION 3. Supervision by the architect, if requested,
shall be performed at the rate of Ten and No/100 collars ($10.00)
per hour, provided that the total cost of plans and drawings
under Sections 1 and 2 and of supervision shall not exceed the
sum of Five Thousand and No/100 collars ($5,000.00) .
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
