A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A FRANCHISE TO
DOWNTOWN UNLIMITED TO USE CERTAIN PUBLIC
PROPERTY FOR CHRISTMAS DISPLAY AND
ADVERTISING WITHIN THE DOWNTOWN LITTLE
ROCK AREA FOR A SPECIFIED PERIOD; AND
FOR OTHE PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The right, privilege and franchise are hereby
granted to Downtown Little Rock Unlimited to use two (2) park-
° ing meter spaces at or about the intersection of Main Street
and Capitol Avenue in the City of Little Rock for the location
of a portable structure used by the franchisee in Christmas
advertising promotions for the Downtown Little Rock area. The
period of this franchise shall run from November 29, 1964,
through and including December 24, 1964.
The franchisee is further granted the right to place
decorations on parking meter poles and light poles at various
points on Main Street and Capitol Avenue during the foregoing
period of time.
SECTION 2. The franchise granted in Section 1 hereof
shall at all times be subject to such requirements as may be
established by the Chief of Police and Department of Coiumunity
Development in the interest of safety and traffic control.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
