A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR A HEARING ON A
PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE WEST 12th
STREET BETWEEN HIGH STREET AND BISHOP STREET IN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKA NSA S .
WHEREAS , the Housing Auth..rity of the City of Li Lt le Rock,
Arkansas , Howard M. Armstrong, B. F. Stringfellow and Paul H.
Gibson, have filed with the Little Rock City Board of Directors
thei_ Petition praying that West 12th Street between High Street
and Bishop Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , as more
particularly described In said Petition, and the Plat attached
thereto , be vacated, abandoned and closed , and have alleged that
they are the sole owners of the lands abutting upon same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Board of Directors
of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1. That the 16th day of November , 1964, at
7:30 o 'clock p.m. , in the Chambers of the Board of Directors
is the date and time fixed for the hearing on this Petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, :Arkansas ,
give notice of such hearing by publication once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County and
having a general circulation in the City, stating in said Notice
the names of Petitioners , a desctption of the street to be vacated,
and advising all persons that on the date named above, the Board
of Directors will hear the Petition and determine whether said
street should be closed.
