RESOLUTION NO. 3 , 220
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RIGHT OF ACQUISITION
OF CERTAIN LANDS DESIGNATED IN THE PARKS PLAY-
GROUNDS AND RECREATION AREAS PLAN FOR THE
LITTLE ROCK PLANNING AREA; RELEASING SAID LANDS
FROM ANY INTEREST OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
UNDER ORDINANCE 11, 388, AS AMENDED; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, certain lands described in Ordinance 11, 388, as
amended, and more particularly described in Chart 1-H as Park
Site 4-CF, are the subject of proposed subdivision and improve-
ment and, under Ordinance 11, 388, Section 5, the City of Little
Rock has power to acquire said lands under the circumstances;
an d
WHEREAS, it is the determination of this Board of Directors
that no funds are, or will be, available for the acquisition of
said proposed park site at this time and it is the desire of the
Board of Directors to release from the Park Plan and any interest
in the City of Little Rock the said tract, thereby allowing its
full and complete subdivision and improvement at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:., ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Park Site 4-CF, as set forth in Chart 1-H, a
part of Ordinance 11, 388, as amended, is hereby released from
any interest in the City of Little Rock under said ordinance 11, 388,
as amended, and the City Manager and Director of the Department of
Couununity Development, together with other agencies of the City of
Little Rock, are authorized to proceed with the approval of the
subdivision of said tract according to the applicable ordinances
of this City.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
