A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF, AND
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO, WILKERSON G. M.
DIESEL, INC. , IN THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT AND 50/100
DOLLARS ($1,598.50) FOR THE REPAIR OF A
TRACTOR AND DOZER USED BY THE SANITATION
DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREOF;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, advertisement for bids was made according to law
for the repair of a tractor and dozer in use by the Sanitation
Department; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, bids have been
opened and received; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder was
Wilkerson G. M. Diesel, Inc. , in the sum of One Thousand Five
Hundred Ninety-eight and 50/100 Dollars ($1,598.50) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Wilkerson G. M. Diesel, Inc. , in
the sum of One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Eight and 50/100
Dollars ($1,598.50) for the repair of a tractor and dozer in
use by the Sanitation Department of the City of Little Rock
is hereby accepted and a contract for said repair is hereby
awarded to the said Wilkerson G. M. Diesel, Inc.
SECTION 2. Upon satisfactory completion of the work,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized and
directed to execute and issue the necessary warrant or warrants
in payment of the contract price herein.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
