A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR A HEARING ON
A PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE BISHOP
STREET BETWEEN WEST 16TH STREET AND WEST 17th
STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREASthe Housing Authority of the City of little Rock,
Arkansas , Arkansas Baptist College and St. Bartholomew Church, have
filed with the Little .t1ock City Board of Directors theirPetition
praying that Bishop Street between West 16th Street and West 17th
Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , as more particularly
described in said Petition, and the Plat attached thereto, be
vacated, abandoned and closed, and have alleged that they are the
sole owners of the lands abutting upon same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Board of Directors
of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1. That the 17th ay of August 1964, at
7:30 o 'clock p.m. , in the chambers of the Board of Directors
is the date and time fixed for the hearing on this Petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little RockArkansas
give notice of such hearing by publication once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County and
havirg a general circulation in the City, stating in said Notice
the names of Petitioners , a descripticin of the street to be vacated,
and advising all persons that on the date named above, the Board
of Directors will hear the Petition and determine whether said
street should be closed.
