A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR A HEARING ON
A PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE WEST
13th STREET BETWEEN IZARD STREET AND CHESTER
STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , has filed with the Little Rock City Board of Directors
its Petition praying that West 13th Street between Izard Street
and Chester Street in the City of L,.ttle Rock, Arkansas , as more
pa ,.ticularly described in said Petition, and the Plat attached
h..reto, be vacated, abandoned and closed, and has alleged that
it is the sole owner ot the lands abutting upon same ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT xEbOLVED by the City Board ot Directors
of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1. That the 17th day of August , 1964, at
7:30 o ' clock p .m. , in the chambers of the Board of Directors
is the date and time fixed for the hearing on this Petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
give notice a such hearing by publication, once a week for two (2)
consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County and
having a general circulation in the City, stating in said Notice
the name of Petitioner, a descriptim of the street to be vacated,
and advising all persons that on the date named above, the Board
of Directors will hear the Petition and determine whether said
street should be closed.
