A RESOLUTION INVITING THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF
MUNICIPAL CLERKS TO SCHEDULE ITS ANNUAL CONVENTION IN
1966 OR AT THE EARLIEST OPPORTUNITY IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; PLEDGING COOPERATION AND ASSIST-
ANCE TOWARDS A SUCCESSFUL CONVENTION IN LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, It has come to the attention of the Board of Direct-
ors of the City of Little Rock that the International Institute of
Municipal Clerks is entertaining the possibility of holding its
1966 Annual Convention in the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock would be greatly honored by
the holding of such a Convention in this City; and
WHEREAS, In an effort to induce the scheduling of such a Con-
vention in the year 1966, or at the earliest available date, the
Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock desires to express
the pledge of its full cooperation and efforts toward the end that
a pleasant and successful Annual Convention of the International
Institute of Municipal Clerks may be accomplished in this City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The International Institute of Municipal Clerks
is hereby invited to schedule its 1966 Annual Convention, or such
a Convention for any other year, at the convenience of the said
Institution in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and the Board
of Directors of this City does hereby express the pledge of its
full cooperation, support and efforts toward the end that such a
Convention would be highly profitable and enjoyable by all mem-
bers attending.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
