3151 RESOLUTION NO. 3,151
A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO FILL UNEXPIRED TERMS
ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND
NATURAL HISTORY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the death of Mr. Owen Lyon and the resignation of
five (5) other members from positions on the Board of Trustees of
the Museum of Science and Natural History has created six (6)
vacancies on said Board; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to fill the
unexpired terms thus vacated so that the said Board may properly
function.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. Mr. Lynn Wassell is hereby appointed to fill the
unexpired term ending November 15, 1966, formerly held by Owen Lyon,
Sr. , now deceased.
SECTION 2. Mr. Ronald May is hereby appointed to fill the
unexpired term ending November 15, 1966, created by the resignation
of Mrs. Fred I. Brown, Jr.
SECTION 3. Mrs . W. R. Harrison is hereby appointed to fill an
unexpired term ending November 15, 1966, created by the resignation
of Mr. Howard Stebbins .
SECTION 4. Mr. Robert Chowning is hereby appointed to fill the
unexpired term ending November 15, 1968, created by the resignation
of Mr. Frank Chowning.
SECTION 5. Mrs. H. Tyndall Dickinson is hereby appointed to
fill the unexpired term ending November 15, 1968, created by the
resignation of Mr. Sam Dickinson.

SECTION 6. Mrs . Henry Halberg is hereby appointed to fill the
unexpired term ending November 15, 1964, created by the resignation
of Mrs. Robert L. Williams.
SECTION 7. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
