A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR MOVING HOUSES FOR USE IN THE
PARKS DEPARTMENT AND FOR THE BUILDING OF FOOTINGS AND FOUNDA-
TIONS FOR SAID HOUSES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to notification and invitation to bid upon
the construction of footings and foundations for three (3) houses
to be used by the Parks Department and located upon Park lands
within the city of Little Rock, the Reliable Concrete Company sub-
mitted the lowest responsible and responsive bid therefor; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement and invitation to bid upon
the moving of three (3) houses to be located upon the foregoing
footings and foundations, D. F. Arey House Moving Company submitted
the lowest responsible and responsive bid; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to award contracts to the successful low
bidders;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The low bid of Reliable Concrete Company in the
sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-eight and 19/100 Dollars
($1,938.19) for the construction of footings and foundations for
three (3) houses to be hereafter located upon City Parks lands in
accordance with the bid specifications and plans is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The low bid of D. F. Arey House Moving Company in
the sum of Three Thousand Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars
($3,250.00) for the moving of three (3) houses to be located on
footings and foundations prepared on the City Parks lands according
to the bid specifications is hereby accepted.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are here-
by authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrants or warrant
in payment of the bid price upon satisfactory completion of the work
bid upon, according to the plans and specifications and the bid
proposal in respect to each aspect of the work.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
