A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
CLOSING OF A PORTION OF TILLITT STREET LOCATED BE-
TWEEN LOTS 7, 8, 9, 10 AND 11 AND LOTS 12, 13, 14, 15
AND 16 IN HOLLIS AND BUTLER'S SUBDIVISION OF THE NORTH
ONE-HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST
QUARTER OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST,
IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND NOW IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
OF NOTICES THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 19th day of March, 1964, asking
that the Board of Directors vacate and abandon that portion of
Tillitt Street contiguous to and between Lots 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and
Lots 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 Hollis and Butler's Subdivision of the
North One-Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
(N2 NW4 SWk) of Section 19, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and now in the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, the portion of said street to be vacated and closed being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 7 Hollis
and Butler' s Subdivision of the North One-Half of
the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (■2
NW4 SW ) of Section 19, Township 1 North, Range 12
West, in Pulaski County, Arkansas, now in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, thence West a distance
of 607 feet along the South line of Lots 7, 8, 9,
10 and 11 of the said Subdivision to the Southwest
corner of Lot 12; thence East a distance of 607
feet along the North line of Lots 12, 13, 14, 15
and 16 to a point; thence North 40 feet to the point
of beginning.

said petition being signed by all of the owners of property abutting
upon that portion of said street to be vacated.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the 4th day of Nay
1964, be fixed as the date for hearing the petition to vacate the
above described portion of Tillitt Street and the City Clerk is
hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publication once
a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in
Pulaski County, and having a general circulation in the City of
Little Rock. The notice shall state the names of the persons who
signed the petition, the name of the street to be vacated and said
street shall be identified as hereinabove described. All persons
shall be advised that on the certain day shown in the notice, the
Board of Directors will determine whether or not the above described
portion of said street should be vacated.
