A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE FOR A HEARING ON
A PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE WEST
SIXTH STREET BETWEEN WOLFE STREET AND BATTERY
STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , and Arkansas Revenue Department Building Commission,
Little Rock, Arkansas , have filed with the Little Rock City
Board of Directors their Petition praying that West Sixth Street
between Wolfe Street and Battery Street in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas , as more particularly describedin said Petition , and the
Plat attached thereto, be vacated, abandoned and closed, and have
alleged that the Little Rock Housing Authority is the sole owner
of the lands abutting upon same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT1ESOLVED by the City Board of Directors
of Little Rock, Arkansas ;
Section 1. That the 16th day of March , 1964, at
7:30 o 'clock p .m. , in the chambers of the Board of Directors
is the date and time fixed for the hearing on this Petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
give notice of such hearing by publication, once a week for two
(2) consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County
and having a general circulation in the City, stating in said
Notice the names of Petitioners , a description of the street to
be vacated, and advising all persons that on the date named above,
the Board of Directors will hear the Petition and determine whether
said street should be closed.
