A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SELL
TWENTY (20) USED CARS TO CROCKETT MOTOR COMPANY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
ti^iHE :EAS, the City has legally published for sale twenty (20)
used cars ; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to sell the vehicles
to the highest responsible and responsive bidder therefor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to sell to the highest bidder therefor, Crockett Motor Company, the
following used cars and shall receive therefor the sum of money set
opposite each group of said used cars:
Fourteen (14) Used Police Cars $6,800 .00
Four (4) Used Milk & Dairy Dept . Cars $1,450 .00
One (1) Used Fire Dept. Car $ 127 .00
One (1) Used Traffic Engineering Dept.Car-$ 438 .00
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
any instruments of transfer necessary to accomplish the legal transfer
of the ownership of the aforementioned vehicles .
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
