A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISABILITY RETIREMENT PAY TO
ALBERT W. MITCHELL UNDER SECTION 2-24 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Disability retirement pay is hereby authorized
and approved to be paid to Albert W. Mitchell, a Sanitation Depart-
ment employee who retired because of disability on January 8, 1964.
SECTION 2. Under and pursuant to Section 2-24 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, it is declared
to be the policy of this City to pay a disabled employee at the rate
of one month' s pay for each year of service prior to disability, on
which basis the said Albert W. Mitchell is found to be entitled to
receive pay at the rate of pay in effect as of January 8, 1964, until
September 8, 1964, at 5 :00 P.M.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to issue monthly the necessary warrants in
compliance herewith.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
