13695 1 RESOLUTION NO. 13,695 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ENFORCEMENT VIDEO, LLC, DB/A 5 WATCH GUARD VIDEO, FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIXTEEN (16) 6 POLICE IN-CAMERA SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE, 7 SOFTWARE AND INSTALLATION, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF 8 SEVENTY-ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED TWELVE DOLLARS 9 ($71,712.00); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, in 2012 Bid # 12247 was issued to obtain competitive bids for a purchase order of an 12 anticipated total of 150 police In-Camera Systems with associated hardware, software and installation, 13 and Enforcement Video, LLC, d/b/a Watch Guard Video, submitted the most responsive and responsible 14 bid; and, 15 WHEREAS,L.R.R. No. 13,576 (Oct. 1, 2012), authorized the initial purchase of twenty-five(25) In- 16 Camera Systems with additional purchases to be made as funding became available; 17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 20 Enforcement Video, LLC, d/b/a Watch Guard Video, for the additional purchase of sixteen (16) In- 21 Camera Systems for installation in sixteen (16) new Police Patrol Units, in the amount of Seventy-One 22 Thousand, Seven Hundred Twelve Dollars($71,712.00). 23 Section 3. Funds for this purchase will be paid from the 2012 3/8-Cent Capital and 5/8-Cent 24 Operational Improvements Sales Tax Funding. 25 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 5. Repealer.
