3086 RESOLUTION NO. 3,086 _
A RESOLUTION NEGATING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
TO PURCHASE CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE MASTER STREET PLAN PURSUANT
TO ORDINANCE NO. 10,929 , AS AMENDED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 10,929 , the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is obligated to declare its intentions to acquire
or not to acquire certain lands within the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, for right-of-way purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, in reference to said lands,
does not desire to acquire same for right-of-way purposes at this
time;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, does hereby declare
that it has no desire, intention or means to acquire land lying within
any part of tce tract described as follows, to-wit :
Part of the NE's of SW4 of Section 13,Township 1 North, Range
13 West, described as follows : Beginning at a point 523 '
South of Northwest corner of NE4 of SW's of section 13 , Township
1 North, Range 13 West; thence South 625 ' to 19th street Pike;
thence along said Pike North 6220 East 193 ' ; thence along said
Pike North 4720 East 314 ' ; thence along said Pike North 62 3/4
deg. East 300 ' ; thence North 78' deg. West 348 ' ; thence North
71 3/4 deg. West 348 ' to place of beginning. EXCEPT THE TWO
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PARCELS:
(1) Part of the Northwest corner of said tract described as
follows : Beginning at the Northwest corner of the above described
tract; run south 625 ' ; thence North 622 deg. East 20 ' ; thence
North 400' ; thence North. 65 deg. East 80 ' ; thence North 160 ' ;
thence North 71 3/4 deg. West 100 ' to the point of beginning.
(2) Begin at a point North 622 deg. East 20 ' from the Southwest
corner of the first above described tract; thence North 622 deg.
East 173 ' ; thence North 472 deg. East 154 ' ; thence North 110 ' ;
thence South 562 deg. West 332' ; thence South 110 ' to the point
of beginning.
SECTION 2. Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company or Arkla Chemical
Corporation, or both, are hereby released from any requirements under
Ordinance No. 10,929, as amended, concerning the property described
above and the Board of Adjustment, Planning Commission and other

interested agencies of the City of Little Rock may proceed according
to the Ordinances of this City in the issuance of a building permit
for construction within the aforedescribed tract.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
