3081 RESOLUTION NO. 3, 081
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE
CIVIL DEFENSE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified
by this Resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City desires to award
a contract on said bids to the lowest responsible and responsive bid-
der therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . A contract for the purchase of the following
equipment for use by the Civil Defense Department of the City of
Little Rock is hereby awarded to the person, firm, or corporation
in the amount shown below:

SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant in payment of
the purchase price hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
