A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING ON A
PETITION TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE A
PORTION OF THE EAST-WEST ALLEY LOCATED IN
BLOCK 139 , ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
BETWEEN IZARD AND STATE STREETS IN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, Little Rock School District, Little Rock, Arkansas ,
and City of Little Rock, Arkansas , have filed with the Little
Rock City Board of Directors their Petition praying that a
portion of the East-West alley located in Block 139, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas , between Izard and State Streets ,
Little Rock, Arkansas , as more particularly described in said
Petition and the plat attached thereto be vacated, abandoned
and closed, and have alleged that they are the sole owners of the
lands abutting upon same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Board of
Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas :
s.ction 1. That the 7th day of October , 1963 , at
7:30 o 'clock p .m. , in the chambers of the Board of Directors
is the date and time fixed for the hearing on this Petition.
S3ction 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
give notice of such hearing by publication, once a week for two
(2) consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County
and having a genera 1 circulation in the City, stating in said
Notice the name of Petitioners , a description of the alley to
be vacated, and advising all persons that on the date named above,
the Board of Directors will hear the Petition and determine
whether said alley should be vacated.
