A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED PARTICIPATION BY THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IN A CONTRACT AUTHORIZED BY RESOLUTION NO .
2505 AS AMENDED PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 2807 , SAME BEING
RESOLUTIONS PLEl INJ THE PARTICIPATION OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK IN A TRANS?ORTATION STUDY OF PULASKI COUNTY; ACKNOWLEDGING
AN ESTIMATED INCREASE IN THE SHARE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
IN SAID STUDY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2505 the City of Little Rock
entered into a Contract with the Arkansas State Highway Commission,
Pulaski County, Arkansas , and the City of North Little Rock, Arkansas,
for the purpose of conducting a transportation study of Pulaski County,
which contract, pursuant to Resolution No . 2807 , was amended; and
WHEREAS, the cost estimates of the project have been revised,
indicating that the City of Little Rock must expend the approximate
sum of Eight Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Three and No/100 Dollars ($3,693 .00)
in excess of the amounts heretofore allocated and stipulated as its pro-
portionate share; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to continue its partici-
pation in said transportation study of Pulaski County notwithstanding
the increased cost estimates ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock does hereby go on record as
approving, ratifying and confirming its participation in the transporta-
tion study of Pulaski County and does hereby commit itself to appropriate
an additional sum of Eight Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Three and No/100
Dollars ($8 ,693 .00) in future years, in addition to the sums previously
couuaiitted for such purposes, in order to provide for adequate financing
of the said transportation study.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption .
