A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF SAM DICKINSON
AS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE LITTLE ROCK
MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY AND ANTIQUITIES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Sam Dickinson has served as a member of the Board
of Trustees of the Little Rock Museum of Natural History and Anti-
quities from December 20, 1957, until this date, at which time he
has tendered his resignation from said Board to the Mayor of the
City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, his record as a member of said Board is one of dili-
gent, faithful and conscientious participation in the affairs of
said Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, wishes to acknowledge and extend their appreciation for
the valuable services contributed by Sam Dickinson to the City of
Little Rock by his participation as a member ot said Board;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The resignation of Sam Dickinson from the Board
of Trustees of the Little Rock Museum of Natural History and Anti-
quities is hereby accepted with regret as ot the date of the adoption
of this resolution.
SECTION 2. Sam Dickinson is hereby commended for his diligent,
faithful and conscientious participation as a member of the Board of
Trustees of the Little Rock Museum of Natural History and Antiquities ,
and the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock does hereby go
on record in acknowledgment and appreciation of the outstanding and
dedicated service given by Sam Dickinson to the citizens of Little ?ock,
Arkansas .
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
