A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO MOSES MELODY SHOP
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ALUMINUM CANOPY OVER PUBLIC
RIGHT-OF-WAY AT 505 MAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A franchise is hereby granted to Moses Melody
Shop, or assigns, to erect and maintain an aluminum canopy on
the following described property, to-wit :
Lot 3, Block 6, ORIGINAL City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION 2. The canopy authorized in Section 1 hereof shall
be fifty feet (50 ' ) wide at its juncture with the building located
upon the Lot and Block as aforesaid, shall extend not in excess
of eight feet (8 ' ) from the said building at any point, shall have
a minimum height at its lowest point of not less than nine feet
(9 ' ) from the sidewalk, and shall be entirely supported by over-
head braces and cantiliever construction .
SECTION 3 . The City of Little Rock retains the right to
revoke this franchise at any time said right-of-way is needed
for public purposes and the said Moses Melody Shop or assigns
shall be required to remove all improvements placed thereon by
it and shall be required to pay all costs attendant with the
removal of the said improvements from said public right-of-way.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
