RESOLUTION NO. 3,026
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE BY QUITCLAIM DEED OF
CERTAIN RIGHT-OF-WAY PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has acquired
residential tracts at and about the proposed East-West Expressway
within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, which tracts shall
constitute in whole or in part portions of the right-of-way of
the said East-West Expressway; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to be reimbursed
by the Arkansas State Highway Department for the cost of acquiring
said tracts;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to convey unto the Arkansas State Highway Department
certain tracts of land within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
as follows :

SECTION 2. Said Quitclaim Deeds when executed shall be de-
livered to the Arkansas State Highway Department for the considera-
tion of the sum appearing opposite each tract described in Section
1 above. The moneys received from the Arkansas State Highway De-
partment as the consideration for the said Quitclaim Deeds shall
be returned and deposited to the City of Little Rock Street Right-
of-Way Fund, Project 1-Expressway.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
