RESOLUTION NO. 3,025
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM THE CHICAGO,
ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR DRAINAGE RIGHT-
OF-WAY ON EAST 26TH STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK-
ANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad
Company by its Executive Vice-President, Eaton Adams, and its
Secretary, M. Z . Greenley, executed a Quitclaim Deed, dated
May 16, 1963, quitclaiming unto the City of Little Rock certain
property for drainage right-of-way on East 26th Street in the
City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock to accept the conveyance;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Quitclaim Deed of the Chicago, Rock Island
and Pacific Railroad Company executed by its Executive Vice-Presi-
dent, Eaton Adams, and its Secretary, M. Z . Greenley, quitclaiming
unto the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, certain property herein-
after described for drainage right-of-way on East 26th Street in
the City of Little Rock is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The property quitclaimed to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, in the deed referred to in Section 1 hereof is
described as follows:
A parcel of land forty (40) feet in width and
nine hundred sixteen (9.16) feet in length, being a portion
of the right-of-way and station grounds of the Chicago, Rock
Island and Pacific Railroad Company, located in the Northwest
quarter (NWT) of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section
Thirteen (13) , Township One (1) North, Range Twelve (12)
West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, the center line of said
property being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Section Thirteen
(13) ; thence south 517 feet to a point in the south line of
East Roosevelt Road; thence east along said south line of

East Roosevelt Road 2,579 .65 feet to the Northeast corner
of the John Deere property; thence continue east 320 feet
to the point of beginning, being the center line of said
property; thence south at right angles to last described
course 916 feet to the southerly right of way line of said
Railroad Company.
Above described parcel contains eighty-four (0.84)
hundredths of an acre, more or less.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
