A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO UINFIELD METHODIST
CHURCH FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ALUMINUM CANOPY AT THE
SIXTEENTH STREET ENTRANCE OF SAID CHURCH: AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A franchise is hereby granted to Winfield Metho-
dist Church to construct an aluminum canopy from its Sixteenth
Street entrance located on Lot 1, Block 166 of the Original City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, which canopy shall be seven (7) feet
wide at its juncture with the building and at all points where
extending over public right-of-way and shall extend to a point
which is two (2) feet South of the existing South curb line of
Sixteenth Street . The said canopy shall not be supported by
vertical poles or supports where same extends over public property.
SECTION 2 . The City of Little Rock retains the right to re-
voke this franchise at any time said right-of-way is needed for
public purposes and the said ,- infield Methodist Church or assigns
shall be required to remove all improvements placed thereon by it
and shall be required to pay all costs attendant with the removal
of the said improvements from said public right-of-way.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
