RESOLUTION NO. 3,022
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF ONE
HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN AND 65/100 DOLLARS ($167 .65) TO AGRICULTURAL
INSURANCE GROUP AS FULL COMPROMISE AND SETTLEMENT FOR DAMAGES
TO ITS AUTOMOBILE ARISING OUT OF A COLLISION WITH a VEHICLE OWNED
BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock by Ordinance No . 10,949,
established certain standards and procedures for the processing of
personal property damage claims against the City of Little Rock,
which ordinance, among other things, provided that the City Manager
would have authority to settle and pay claims not exceeding the
sum or One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) ; and
WHEREAS , the claim of Agricultural Insurance Group exceeds
the One Hundred Dollar ($100 .00) limitation; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Attorney recommend that
said claim be settled for One Hundred Sixty Seven and 65/100 Dol-
lars ($167 .65) ; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors desires to authorize payment
to Agricultural Insurance Group of the said sum as full compromise
and settlement of its claim against the City for damages to its
vehicle;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby approved the expenditure of One
Hundred Sixty Seven and 65/100 Dollars ($167 .65) to agricultural
Insurance Group as full compromise and settlement of its claim
for damages to its vehicle arising out of a collision with a
vehicle owned by the City of Little Rock which occurred on the
5th day of November, 1962, in the 4300 Block on West 8th Street
in the City of Little Rock, `.rkansas .
SECTION 2. The money paid pursuant to Section 1 . of this
Resolution shall be charged to Account No . 5 .1 in accordance with
Section 6. of Ordinance No. 10,949 .
SECTION 3 . The City Manager and Director of Finance are

hereby authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant
in payment of the money approved in Section 1 . hereinabove.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
