2981 RESOLUTION NO. 2,981
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND
ERECTION OF A CANOPY OVER PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AT 206 MAIN
STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A franchise is hereby granted to Little Rock Tent
& Awning Company or assigns to erect and maintain an aluminum canopy
on the following described property, to-wit:
The South Half (S2) of Lot 11, Block 77,
Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION 2. The canopy authorized in Section 1 hereof shall
join the east face of the existing structure now located on the afore-
described property and shall encroach upon the street right-of-way
not in excess of eight (3) feet, shall be of a minimum height of nine
(9) feet, and shall extend not in excess of nineteen and one-half (192)
feet along the face of said building.
SECTION 3 . The City of Little Rock retains the right to revoke
this franchise at any time said street right-of-way is needed for public
purposes and the said Little Rock Tent & ,=,wning Company or assigns shall
be required to remove all improvements placed thereon by it and shall
be required to pay all costs attendant with the removal of the said
improvements from said street right-of-way.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
