A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
CLOSING OF A PORTION OF NORTH VALENTINE STREET SITUATED
BETWEEN BLOCK 10, EAST PULASKI HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF LI'rTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND BLOCK 7, AUTEN AND
MOSS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 13th day of February, 1963,
asking that the Board of Directors vacate and abandon that portion
of North Valentine Street (originally platted as Walnut Street)
contiguous to and dividing Block 10, East Pulaski Heights Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , and Block 7, Auten and Moss
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the portion of said
street to be vacated and closed being more particularly described
as follows :
Commencing at the Northwest Corner of Block 10,
East Pulaski Heights Addition to the City of
Little Rock, thence South along the west line of
Block 10 to the Southwest Corner of Block 10,
thence West to the Southeast Corner of Block 7,
Auten and Moss Addition to the City of Little
Rock, thence North along the east line of Block
7, thence East to the point of beginning.
said petition being signed by all of the owners of property abutting
upon that portion of said street to be vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the 15th day of April
1963, be fixed as the date for hearing the petition to vacate the
above described portion of North Valentine Street and the City
Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing by publica-
tion once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published
in Pulaski County, and having a general circulation in the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas . The notice shall state the names of the
persons who signed the petition and the name of the street to be
vacated shall be identified as hereinabove described. All persons
shall be advised that on the certain day shown in the notice, the
Board of Directors will determine whether or not the above described
portion of said street should be vacated.
