A RESOLUTION Setting a Time and Place for
a Public Hearing on a Petition to Vacate,
Abandon and Close a Portion of a Street.
WHEREAS, a Petition duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 1st
day of February , 1963, praying that the Board of
Directors vacate, abandon and close a portion of a street,
which is described below, and
WHEREAS, it is provided by Section 3, Act 17 of 1945,
appearing as Ark. Stats. 19-3826 (1947 Annotated), that there shall
be a public hearing of such Petition and that Notice of the public
hearing shall be published once a week for two consecutive weeks
in some newspaper of general circulation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Section 1 . At the April 15 , 1963,
regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, there shall be a public hearing of the Petition to vacate,
abandon and close the following described portion of a street in
Westover Hills Subdivision of Little Rock, Arkansas:
South Road west from Pine Valley Road
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 14
Westover Hills Subdivision of Little Rock,
Arkansas, at a point where it intersects
Pine Valley Road, thence in a westerly
direction along north side of South Road
a distance of 140.4 feet to a point, thence
south 40 feet to a point on the south side
of South Road, thence in a easterly direction
along the south side of South Road a distance
of approximately 210 feet to a point on the
north side of Lot 21 Westover Hills Sub-
division of Little Rock, Arkansas, where it
intersects with Pine Valley Road, thence in
a northwesterly direction along the west side
of Pine Valley Road a distance of approximately
70 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall cause Notice of the
above public hearing to be published once a week for two con-
secutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
