A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SELL
SEVENTEEN (17) USED POLICE CARS TO CROCKETT MOTOR
SALES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has legally advertised for sale
seventeen (17) used police cars ; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant
to said advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to sell the
vehicles to the hi;hest responsible and responsive bidder
therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, A (ANSAS :
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to sell seventeen (17) used police cars to the highest
bidder therefor, Crockett Motor Sales, and shall receive therefor
a sum of not less than Nine Thousand One Hundred and No/100 Dollars
($9 ,100.00) .
SECTION 2. The City Manager is further authorized to
execute any instruments of transfer necessary to accomplish the
legal transfer of the ownership of the aforementioned vehicles.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
