A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE CITIZEN'S
TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR TERMS OF
EACH MEMBER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following persons are hereby appointed to
the Citizen ' s Traffic Safety Commission of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
W. M. Apple
Phil G. Back
W. Dan Cotton
Bradford H. Govan
Melvin Lawson
Miss Willie Lawson
I. 2iverett Neathery
B . G. Robertson
Henry W. Russell
m. E. Snodgrass ,
James D. Storey
Sam M. Vogel
SECTION 2. The terms of the persons appointed in Section
1 hereof shall be staggered; four (4) shall serve one year terms,
four (4) shall serve two year terms; and the remaining four (4)
shall serve three year terms. The term of each person herein ap-
pointed shall be determined at the first organizational meeting of
the Commission by lot and the person elected to serve as Chairman
of the Commission shall certify terms of members so established to
the City Clerk.
SECTION 3 . The City Manager or his designee shall call a
meeting of the said Commission at the earliest practicable time and
shall ace as Chairman until a Chairman shall be duly elected from
among the members thereof.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
