A RESOLUTION COMMENDING HONORABLE HARDY L. iINBURN, SR. ,
FOR EXCELLENCE OF SERVICE IN BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF
LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS,
The Port - Storm Drainage - Public Streets
have profited from his deeds.
He ' s rolled his sleeves up - zeroed in
to meet our people' s needs .
The image of our City Hall •
concerns him quite a bit
He ' s spoken, written and gone to bat
and always got a hit .
On Zoning, planning - public things -
his praises truly glow
He ' s worked real hard on many a plan
to help our City grow.
A thinking man - sometimes aloud -
he seldom speaks for long
A few terse words and that is all
and seldom is he wrong.
Since caking office he does allow
and openly makes a claim
To have brought our dear beloved Hogs
to national football fame.
His five years ' service now must end
as a member of this Board
The goals and ends he has in mind
we ' ll ever work toward.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE: BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Honorable Hardy L. Winburn, Jr. , is hereby
extended a most heartfelt and genuine vote of thanks and appreciation
shared by every citizen of the City of Little Rock for his continuous
and excellent discharge of the trust imposed upon him as a member
of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock. Without doubt
Mr. Winburn will continue to conduct his personal life and business
consistent with the attributes of the gentleman and wholesome person
that he is known to be, and it is further felt by the Board of

Directors that Mr. Winburn' s knowledge and business acumen, which
has made him an invaluable member of this Board, will be put to
use for the betterment of this City in many ways for many years
to come.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after iLs adoption.
