2896 RESOLUTION NO. 2,896
A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS ON BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF
CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE CIVIL DEFENSE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the equipment identified by
this resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to award contracts on said bids to the lowest responsible
and responsive bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Contracts for the purchase of the following equip-
ment for use by the Civil Defense Department of the City of Little
Rock are hereby awarded to the persons , firms or corporations in
the amounts shown below:

SECTION 2 . The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrants in payment
of the purchase prices hereinabove identified.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
