A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY,
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, TO BE USED AS A POTENTIAL CITY PARK
FROM A. N. McANINCH, AGENT, FOR A TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE OF
TWENTY ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($21,500 .00) ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City now has the opportunity to acquire, by pur-
chase, lands sufficient to enable it to develop a City Park in an
area where same would be beneficial to its citizens ; and
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors desires to authorize the pur-
chase of said property for such a use;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to purchase from A. N. McAninch, /'gent, upon the approval of title
by the City Attorney and the establishment of the correct boundaries
thereof, the following described property situated in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, to-wit :
The WZ NW4 of Section 25 and the E2 NE4 of Section
26, Township 1 North,Range 13 West, EXCEPT the
following described tract, to-wit: Part of the SW4
NW4 and part of the NW4 NW4 of Section 25 , and part
of the SE4 NE4 of Section 26, Township 1 North, Range
13 West, more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the SW4 NW4 of said
Section 25 ; thence North 1 degree 41 minutes East along
the East line of said WZ NW4 1646.9 feet to a point;
thence North 87 degrees 39 minutes West 846 feet to
a point; thence North 57 degrees 14 minutes West 54.7
feet to a point; thence South 77 degrees 46 minutes
West 288 feet to a point; thence South 32 degrees 46
minutes West 275 feet to a point; thence South 7 degrees
14 minutes Last 355 feet to a point; thence South 32
degrees 46 minutes West 519 feet to a point; thence
South 12 degrees 14 minutes East 180 feet to a point;
thence South 57 degrees 14 minutes East 300 feet to a
point ; thence South 1 degree 41 minutes West to a point
on the South line of said SW4 NW%; thence South 87 degrees
39 minutes East along the South line of said SW4 NW4 to
the Southeast corner of said SW4 NW4i which is the point
of beginning; AND, also
The SW4 SEk of Section 23 , Township 1 North, Range 13 West,
EXCEPT Lots 1 through 18 and Lots 53 , 54 and 55 of Woodlawn

Heights Addition, AND EXCEPT: Begin at a point in the
West line of the NWk SE'- , which is 206.8 feet North of
the Northwest corner of the SW4 SE4i thence South 506.8
feet; thence East to the Southwest corner of Lot 9 ,
Woodlawn Heights Addition; thence Northerly along the
rear lines of Lots 9 and 10, Woodlawn Heights Addition,
a distance of 280 feet to the Northwesterly corner of
said Lot 10; thence North 55 degrees 06 minutes West a
distance of 487.3 feet to the point of beginning, all
in Pulaski County, Arkansas .
for a consideration of Twenty One Thousand Five Hundred and No/100
Dollars ($21,500 .00) .
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant in payment of
the purchase price authorized in Section 1 above, said purchase price
to be paid from moneys previously appropriated to the Parks & Airport
Construction Fund.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
