1 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO WORTHEN
BANK & TRUST COMPANY FOR A ROOF OVERHANG IN THE
NATURE OF A MARQUEE OVER PUBLIC PROPERTY NEAR
ROOSEVELT ROAD AND CONFEDERATE BLVD. . AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A franchise is hereby granted to Worthen
Eank & Trust Company for the construction of a roof overhang
in the nature of a marquee on a certain building proposed
for construction adjacent to Roosevelt Road near the inter-
section of Confederate Blvd. , more particularly described
and indicated on a plat and drawing by Swaim, Allen, Wellborn
& Associates, dated May 30, 1962, and on file with the Director
of Public Works of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; provided,
however, that said roof overhang be erected and constructed
in full and complete accordance with the Building Code of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and all other applicable
ordinances and laws .
SECTION 2 . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
