A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE
OF SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($75 ,000.00)
FROM THE PARK & AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND, PROJECT 33 ,
TO THE ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER CONSTRUCTION FUND, WHICH SUM
HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN APPROPRIATED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has appropriated certain
sums of money from the 1953 Bond Construction Funds for the pur-
pose of constructing an Arts Center in the City of Little Rock;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to authorize a specific expenditure from the said funds
previously appropriated;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby authorized and approved the
expenditure of the sum of Seventy Five Thousand and No/100 Dol-
lars ($75,000.00) from the Park & Airport Construction Fund, Pro-
ject 33, to the Arkansas Arts Center Construction Fund for the
purpose of paying contractors ' estimates arising from the con-
struction of the Arkansas Arts Center .
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
in payment of moneys approved in Section 1 herein.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
