A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE THE ALLEY RUNNING
NORTH AND SOUTH THROUGH BLOCK "A" , BEN COX SUB-
DIVISION OF LOT 3, BLOCK 2, HYDE PARK ADDITION TO
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little mock, Arkansas, on the 20th day of June
1962, seeking and asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon
the alley running North and South through Block "A", Ben Cox Sub-
division of Lot 3 , Block 2, Hyde Park Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, wnicn, according to the official plat of record in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, lies and is situated between Seventeenth
Street on the North, Eighteenth Street on the South, Van Buren Street
on the West and Jackson Street on the East in Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said area now appearing
of record in Plat record Book No. 2 at Page No . 24, in the office of
the Recorder of Pulaski 'County, Arkansas .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
next regular meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
7 :30 P.M. on the 16th day of July , 1962.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once
a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas, having a general circulation in the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas .
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
