A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE TERMS OF INDEPENDENT AUDITORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FROM TWO (2) TO THREE (3)
YEARS; EMPLOYING E. L. CULLUM AND CO. FOR THE YEAR 1962;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has heretofore employed
auditors to audit its books for two-year terms; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to extend the terms of said
auditors from two (2) to three (3) years; and
WHEREAS, E. L. Cullum and Co . was employed by the City
in 1960 to audit its books for the fiscal years 1960 and 1961;
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to extend the term of said auditor
for an additional year;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It shall hereafter be the policy of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, to employ an independent auditor for the
City of Little Rock for a term of three (3) consecutive years .
SECTION 2. The employment of E. L. Cullum and Co . as in-
dependent auditor for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby
extended through the fiscal year 1962 in conformance with the policy
adopted in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
