A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE FOR THE PROCESSING
OF REZONING APPLICATIONS FILED PURSUANT TO PROVISIONS OF
ACT 115 , ACTS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF
ARKANSAS OF 1961; PROVIDING FOR A FILING FEE; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Act 115 , Acts
of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas of 1961, the Board
of Directors may, upon petition duly filed as hereinafter provided,
rezone property within the jurisdiction of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. All applications for rezoning, referred to in
Section 1 hereinabove, shall be referred to the Little Rock Plan-
ning Commission for the purpose of a public hearing before the said
Commission, of which at least fifteen (15) days notice has been
given in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Little
Rock. Further, actual notice of said public hearing shall be given
to the owners of all property within two hundred feet (200 ' ) of the
property to be rezoned. Following the public hearing, the Planning
Commission shall submit its report and recommendation on the appli-
cation to the Board of Directors .
SECTION 3 . A fee of Twenty Five and No/100 Dollars ($25 .00)
is hereby charged for the filing of each application authorized by
this resolution. Such charge shall be paid to the City Collector
for which a receipt shall be issued stating the purpose of the pay-
ment. This receipt must be filed with the application.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
