A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING PROVISIONS AND
CONDITIONS OF MINUTE ORDER NO. 4588 OF THE ARKANSAS
STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION DATED APRIL 11, 1962, PRO-
VIDING FOR THE RESURFACING OF A SECTION OF HIGHWAY 10
IN THE WEST ROCK ADDITION OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, under date of April 11, 1962, the Arkansas State
Highway Commission approved Minute Order No . 4588 providing for
the resurfacing of a section of Highway 10 in the West Rock
Addition of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock desires to accept the
provisions and conditions of said Minute Order No . 4588 ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Minute Order No . 4588 of the Arkansas
State Highway Commission dated April 11, 1962, be and is hereby
approved and accepted in its entirety, including all conditions
therein set forth, as follows :
"WHEREAS, in the construction of Job A-6673 , a
section of Highway 10, in the West Rock Addition
of Little Rock is being abandoned, and,
WHEREAS, this section is badly in need of resur-
facing,
IT IS ORDERED that the Director be authorized to
resurface the existing pavement, by contract, with
Asphaltic Concrete Hot Mix Surface Material at an
estimated cost of $9 ,400 .00, providing the city of
Little Rock will adjust any manhole covers and
utilities."
SECTION 2 . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
