2828 RESOLUTION NO . 2,828
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR THE
REPAIRING OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation for bids for the repair of the equip-
ment identified by this resolution have been legally published; and
WHEREAS , bids have been received and opened pursuant to said
invitation; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
desires to award a contract on said bids to the lowest responsible
and responsive bidder therefor;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A contract for the repair of the following equip-
ment for use by the Sanitation Department of the City of Little
Rock is hereby awarded to the person, firm or corporation in the
amount shown below:

Repairing Tractor J . A. RIGGS TRACTOR COMPANY $2,290.21
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the necessary warrant in payment
of the price for the repairs hereinabove authorized.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
