A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO . 2, 756, SAME
BEING: "A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO H.
L. JONES TO PLACE ARTISTIC ADVERTISING BENCHES
ALONG CERTAIN BUS ROUTES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES ." ; AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Resolution No . 2,756 is hereby
amended to read as follows :
'Section 3 . For and in consideration of such franchise,
the said H. L. Jones, his heirs and assigns , agree to pay
to the City of Little Rock the sum of Two and No/100 Dol-
lars ($2.00) per year for each bench placed upon any bus
route in the City of Little Rock, said fee being payable
in advance annually within thirty (30) days from the ef-
fective date or anniversary date of this resolution. Be-
fore any bench shall be constructed or placed upon any bus
route a permit must be issued by the Director of Public
Works and the location of said bench approved by the Director
of Traffic."
SECTION 2 . This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
